COMEDK UGET 2018 Counselling process commences

NEW DELHI, JULY 17, 2018 – Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges has started the offline counselling process for all eligible candidates. The counselling session has commenced from July 16 and will be held till July 26, 2018. The candidates have been called in for the counselling according to their allotted ranks in the entrance examination. Seven sessions of counselling are being conducted per day for the COMEDK UGET candidates.

Since the counselling is being conducted in offline mode, all of the candidates will have to be present physically. The candidates will have to report to the following address for the counselling according to the date and time slot corresponding to their rank. The counselling venue address is as follows:

What is the process for counselling?

Once the candidates reach the counselling venue, they will have to report to the check-in counter and produce their documents to proceed to the verification section. After filling out the verification card, the documents will be verified by the responsible authority. Following the verification, the candidates will have to complete their biometric and photo verification process.

Next, the candidates will have to fill their demand draft details along with three choices of course/college as per their preference. After their rank is called, the candidates will have to go to the selection counter and select their preferred seat according to availability status. The demand draft of Rs. 55,000 drawn in favour of COMEDK and indicating the Test Admission Ticket Number (TAT Number), payable at Bangalore, has to be submitted at the deposit counter after the candidates collect their seat allotment letter.

It has to be noted that the list of approved/notified banks from which the demand draft will be acceptable has been released by the authorities. The original allotment letter will consist of the details regarding reporting to the allotted institute.

Important Points of COMEDK UGET Counselling

• Selection of seats will be done according to the merit of the candidates.

• A merit list will be prepared for each session after the document verification is done. Higher ranked candidates will have to opportunity to select their seats before the lower ranked candidates.

• If the original allotment letter is lost by the candidates, then the candidate’s allotted seat will also be cancelled.

• Unregistered and unverified candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

• If the demand draft is not drawn from one of the banks mentioned by the authorities, then it will be rejected.
