NEW DELHI: Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will start the registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET 2024) on February 1. Candidates can apply for UGET 2024 on the official website, comedk.org.
The COMDEK UGET 2024 will be held on May 12, 2024. The exam will be based on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 11 and 12. As per the notification, 33% percent questions will be on Class 11 syllabus and 67% percent from Class 12.
The COMDEK UGET 2024 will be in English medium. Candidates will be awarded as one mark each for correct response. There will be no negative marking.

Candidates applying for undergraduate (UG) engineering courses should have cleared the PUC or Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in physics, chemistry and maths. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC candidates will have to secure 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
Physics and mathematics are compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or computer science or electronics as one of the optional subjects. Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
COMDEK will not conduct an entrance test conducted for candidates seeking admission to B Arch Course. Those seeking admission to BArch course will have to submit a separate application form for counselling as per the notification on COMEDK website (which will be made available before counselling).

Candidates applying for UG architecture should have PUC or Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Candidates from SC and ST categories should have 45% marks. All the candidates (including SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) seeking admission to BArch should have cleared the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
