NEW DELHI: Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has postponed exams for its distance education programme as a precaution against the spread of coronavirus. The exams will now begin on April 1.
The Indo-Asian News Service reported on March 9, that exams at its distance learning centres in Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar and Delhi have been postponed. They were to begin on March 15. The AMU spokesperson, M Shafey Kidwai told Careers360 that all other exams will be held as per schedule, including the entrance tests for the school.
6,000 students

The university has also postponed all annual hall functions and cultural programs and no permissions will be granted for functions at Kennedy auditorium, the IANS reported.
