Use NowNEW DELHI: The Central Seat Allocation Board has opened the registration window for the CSAB 2024 special round counselling today, July 31. Eligible candidates can register for CSAB 2024 special round counselling through the official website, csab.nic.in. The last date to apply for CSAB 2024 special round counselling is August 2.
After registration, candidates are required to pay the special round enrolment fee of Rs 45,000 for general, general-economically weaker section (GEN-EWS), or other backward classes-non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) candidates and Rs 25,000 for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates. This fee includes a non-refundable Rs 5,000 special round processing fee.
The board will conduct CSAB 2024 special round counselling in two rounds. As per the official notice, candidates occupying a seat in DASA-2024 will not be permitted to participate in the CSAB special rounds. To be eligible for the CSAB special rounds, such candidates must surrender or withdraw their DASA-2024 seats before the specified date.
The special round will be conducted to fill vacant seats in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) after the final round of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) process.
