NEW DELHI: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will close the registration window for the CSAB 2024 special round counselling today, August 2. Eligible candidates who have notapplied yet can fill the application form at csab.nic.in/csab-special/. Two rounds of counselling are being conducted for admission to BTech programmes at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other participating institutes.
In order to complete the registration process, applicants belonging to the general EWS and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 45,000 as the enrollment fee while SC, ST, and PwD candidates will have to make payment of Rs 25,000.
According to the counselling schedule, the choice-filling facility will end tomorrow, August 3. Candidates can check the seat matrix on the official website and submit their preferences of courses and colleges accordingly. The seat allotment result will be declared on August 5.
How to apply for CSAB 2024 special round?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for CSAB 2024 counselling.
- Go to the official website, csab.nic.in/csab-special/
- Click on the link "Online registration and choice-filling for CSAB 2024 special round" under the candidate activity board
- Candidates will be redirected to a login window
- Click on new candidate registration and enter JEE Main application number, name, date of birth, mother's name, security pin, and submit
- Login with generated credentials and fill the form
- Upload the required documents and pay the enrollment fee
- Download the confirmation page for future reference
