NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023 exam on January 07, 2023, in remote proctored mode. The institute has released the CSEET exam instructions for the candidates appearing in the examination. The admit card of CSEET 2023 exam will be issued soon.

CSEET January 2023 exam instructions

The CSEET exam will be conducted in remote proctored mode. Candidates are allowed to appear for the CSEET using their own laptop or desktop from home/ such other convenient and isolated place.

Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in CSEET by using mobile phone, tablet, palmtop, etc.

The duration of CSEET 2023 shall be 120 minutes. Candidates should solve 140 multiple choice questions in the prescribed time limit.

Candidates are required to download, install and check Safe Exam Browser, SEBLite on their desktop or laptop beforehand as directed for the CSEET.

The CSEET 2023 admit card is a mandatory document to appear in the exam.

Candidates are required to login to the CSEET test portal at least 30 (thirty) minutes before the time specified for the commencement of test.

No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the test after completion of 15 minutes of the commencement of the test and no candidate shall be permitted to finish the test until the expiry of 90 minutes of the commencement of the test.

The CSEET 2023 question paper will be displayed only in English language.

Candidates are strictly prohibited to use mobile phones, earphones, digital diary, scientific calculator, etc.

It must be ensured that there is no person in the room with the candidate once the test has commenced.
Technical requirements for candidates appearing in CSEET 2023
Candidate has to ensure that the following technical requirements are available for appearing for the examination:
Desktop/Laptop:

Browser: Google Chrome version 8.0 and above

Video/audio: Webcam and a good quality mic is required.

Operating system – Windows 10 or 11 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) or Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) or Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit).

RAM and processor: 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th generation 2.2 Ghz or equivalent/higher
Internet connection:
Recommended internet speed per user: Dedicated internet and internet bandwidth of minimum 2 mbps (4G/ Wi-Fi) or above + upload speed.
The ICSI will also conduct the CSEET mock tests a few days before the examination. Candidates must appear in the mock test to make themselves familiar with the examination scheme and online testing process. The result of CSEET January 2023 will be announced around ten days after the exam.
