NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will resume the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2021 exam) in a computer-based mode from tomorrow, December 20. CTET 2021 is conducted in two shifts- shift 1 from 9:30 am to 12 pm and shift 2 from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

CBSE CTET 2021 paper 2 was cancelled on December 16 due to a technical glitch and both the shifts of paper 1 and 2 to be held on December 17, 2021, was postponed. The CTET exam dates 2021 for the postponed exams will be notified soon by the CBSE.

"The examination shifts starting from Monday, December 20, 2021, will be conducted as per schedule. The candidates are informed to appear in the examination at the respective centres accordingly," the official notice said.

The CTET 2021 exam will be conducted till January 13, 2022. Paper 1 is for the aspirants who want to become teachers of Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for the aspirants who wish to become teachers of Classes 6 to 8.

Candidates should carry CTET admit card 2021 to the exam centre for verification purposes. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam room until the completion of the CTET exam. If there are any special cases or any emergency, they have to get permission from the invigilator.

As per the CBSE CTET exam day guidelines, applicants must also ensure that they do not carry any stationery item such as textual material, bits of paper, plastic pouch, geometry/pencil box, calculator, electronic pen/scanner, log table. They should also not carry mobile phones, health bands, earphones, BlueTooth, microphones, pagers in the exam hall.
