NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application correction window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 examination today, on December 4, 2023. The correction window is activated on the official website, ctet.nic.in. CTET January 2024 will be held on January 21.

Candidates may make changes or edit information on their previously filed CTET application form 2024 without paying any charges.

Candidates are allowed to make changes in the CTET 2024 application form regarding the following details

  • Spelling errors on name of the candidate
  • Spelling errors on father’s name
  • Spelling errors on mother’s name
  • Birth date
  • Caste category
  • Address
  • Differently abled category
  • Paper opted for
  • Language I and language II paper opted for
  • Institution or college

Candidates are not permitted to edit or make changes on the CTET exam city selection. the option has been locked after the submission of CTET 2024 application form.

CTET form correction facility is only available for the candidates once. CBSE will not accept changes submitted by offline means such as fax, application, or mail. After the online correction window closes, no requests for changes in particulars will be considered.

CTET 2024: Steps to edit details

Candidates can follow these steps to edit the CTET 2024 application form

  • Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on "Correction window for CTET-Jan2024"
  • You will be redirected to a log in page.
  • Enter the required credentials such as application number and password.
  • Click on the application form correction button.
  • Read the instructions carefully.
  • Click on proceed for correction option.
  • Edit the application form as needed.
  • Review the application form.
  • Click on the submit button.
  • Save and take a printout of the confirmation page.
