CBSE CTET September 2026 Exam Date LIVE: CTET hall ticket details soon; application correction closes today

The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CTET exam city slip soon. Following the pattern, city slip is expected to be out at least 10 days before the exam date. It is released ahead of admit card so that candidates can make travel arrangements accordingly.

The CTET September 2026 exam was originally scheduled for September 6, 2026, with September 5 as the reserve date. However, the exam was postponed following Supreme Court directions. As of now, CBSE has not officially announced a revised CTET 2026 exam date for the September session.

CBSE will close the CTET correction window online today, September 10, on the official website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who have applied earlier and through the reopened application form facility can access the CTET correction window.

Candidates will be able to download their CTET eligibility certificate and marksheet through DigiLocker. To access the documents, candidates need to log in to their DigiLocker account using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked details and enter their CTET roll number when prompted.

Steps to download CTET certificate

• Visit the DigiLocker website or open the DigiLocker app.
• Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked details.
• Go to the “Issued Documents” section.
• Search for “Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)”.
• Select the relevant CTET certificate or marksheet.
• Enter your CTET roll number and select the required exam session/year, if prompted.
• Click on “Get Document” or the relevant download option.
• Your CTET certificate will be available in the Issued Documents section.
• Download and save the certificate PDF for future reference.

The passing marks for the CTET 2026 are:

• General category: 90 marks (60%)
• Reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST, and PwD: 82 marks (55%)

Candidates should carefully check the list of items prohibited inside the examination centre before appearing for the test.

• Geometry boxes or pencil boxes
• Gold or artificial jewellery and ornaments
• Plastic or pencil pouches, pencils, scales, log tables, writing pads, erasers or cardboard

According to the past session, CTET 2026 gate closing timings:
