CTET September 2026 LIVE: CBSE TET exam date, hall ticket details soon; application correction facility open

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2026) exam date for paper 1 and 2 soon. CTET September 2026 admit card and city slip details will be issued on ctet.nic.in. Several media reports suggest that CTET September 2026 exam will be held on October 9.

Candidates will be able to download the CTET September 2026 admit card and city slip details through the login facility. CTET hall ticket will include details of exam date, timing, exam centre details and guidelines for the exam.

CBSE CTET 2026 comprises two papers, paper 1 and 2, each with 150 marks. CTET paper has 150 and 130 questions in paper 1 and 2, respectively. CTET application correction 2026 facility was reopened for the candidates. The deadline for making corrections to the application form is September 10.

How to download CTET 2026 admit card?

The steps to download CTET 2026 admit card 2026 are given below.

• Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
• Click on the CTET September 2026 admit card link.
• Enter the login credentials, including application number and password, and submit it.
• CTET September 2026 city intimation slip will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

As per previous years’ trends, the CTET 2026 examination will be conducted in two shifts, with paper 1 from 9:30 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates must note that the city intimation slip is separate from the admit card. The CTET city slip 2026 will only indicate the allotted exam city; the admit card will carry the detailed information needed to appear for the exam.
