The CTET will be conducted in a pen and paper based mode across various exam centres in the country. CBSE conducted the CTET 2024 exam in two shifts for paper 1 (Class 1 to 5) and paper 2 (Class 6 to 8) on December 14. CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice a year.
CTET exam is held for candidates who evaluate candidates’ understanding of teaching subjects and their pedagogic content knowledge. Other aspects, such as the candidate’s knowledge in subjects of the school curriculum, questions assessing the planning of teaching-learning experiences, and strategies for developing conceptual clarity will be assessed.
Candidates who qualify for the exam will be given a TET eligibility certificate to apply in schools under central governments, unaided private schools, and other schools, which will be applicable for a lifetime.
