Check NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) July session. The CTET July 2024 exam will be held on July 7 in twenty languages in136 cities across the country. Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit the CTET application form 2024 through the official website, ctet.nic.in.

CTET exam 2024 will be held for two papers in separate shifts - paper 2 will be held in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and paper 1 in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. CTET paper 1 is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates to become teacher for classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for candidates who intend to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8.
Candidates belonging to general and OBC(NCL) will have to pay Rs 1,000 as application fee and an extra Rs 200 if appearing for both the papers. Whereas SC, ST, differently-abled person will have to pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for appearing in both papers.
Applicants are also required to opt for four different exam centres in the order of preference and proximity to their residence address. “The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fee has been submitted. However, the facility of corrections in the particulars (except city of examination) may be made available on the portal during the specified period which will be notified on the website of CTET,” it said.
