The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate (CUET-UG) soon on the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in. The CUET UG 2026 intimation slip is expected to be out in the last week of April. However, the NTA has not yet announced a confirmed release date.

Candidates can download their city slip by entering the details, including application number and password. Once the slip is downloaded, aspirants are advised to check the details like: subject-wise exam date, shift timing, and allotted exam city in advance.

The CUET UG 2026 will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in multiple shifts, covering 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, along with the general test.

The exam is structured into three main sections: the language test (section I), domain subjects (section II), and the general test (section III). The general test measures a candidate’s understanding of general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude.

The exam follows an objective format, with all questions being multiple-choice (MCQs), and each subject paper consisting of 50 compulsory questions. Each paper is allotted a duration of 60 minutes. In terms of marking, candidates receive 5 marks for every correct answer, lose 1 mark for each incorrect response, and no marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.
