The NTA is conducting the CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024 for admission into 12 UG programmes of various agricultural universities across the country.

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024 registration for admission into undergraduate programmes of various agricultural universities on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. The admission into 12 bachelor degree programmes in agricultural universities will be based on the merit-rank in CUET (ICAR-UG)-2024.

The programmes for which the admission will be conducted through CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024 include BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Sericulture, Natural Farming, Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences, BTech in Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Technology and Biotechnology. The final number of seats of various agricultural institutes will be displayed on ICAR official website, icar.org.in, at the time of online counselling.
During the academic year 2023-24, total number of ICAR AIQ seats available for admission in 12 different Bachelor Degree programs was 5,221.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024 should have passed the Class 12 board exam with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core programmes.
Candidates who appear in subject(s) different than the one which she/he has passed in Class 12 will not be considered for counselling / admission and will stand rejected. The candidates can only attempt for three subjects (at least 3 subjects) in the examination as per the choice given in the application form.
Several universities have special conditions (like upper age limit, mandatory subject eligibility for a specific program, gender specific preference, etc.) for admission as per respective university statute.
