NEW DELHI: Nearly 20,000 candidates have scored 100 percentile across 30 subjects in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) result. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the CUET results 2022 early today on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.

The debut CUET 2022 exam saw a total of 14,90,293 registration, making it the second largest entrance exam after the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022). As per the CUET result 2022 notice, 9,68,201 candidates appeared for the exam. Of the total number of registered candidates, 64.96% students wrote the exam.
Of the 20,000 students, English has the maximum number of 8,236 candidates who scored a perfect 100 percentile. Followed by political science (2,065), business studies (1,669), biology (1,324) and economics (1,188), the Indian Express report said.
The NTA announced the CUET 2022 results using the equipercentile method , where percentile for each candidate is calculated using the CUET raw marks of the candidate as compared to the raw marks of others in the same session.
A large section of students had claimed on social media that the CUET English answer key had numerous errors and expressed concern over raising objections for “more than 20 questions”.
As per the NTA, candidates had applied for 54,555 unique combination of subjects across 90 participating universities. The total number of question papers was 2,219 and the number of questions was 50,476.
The CUET UG 2022 exam was held in 13 languages - English, Hindi along with regional languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
