NEW DELHI: Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 candidates are still facing what seems to be a recurring issue with India’s second largest entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses – changes in exam centre. Several aspirants took to Twitter and shared a message from the National Testing Agency (NTA) which informs them that their CUET 2022 examination centre has been changed for tomorrow's exam due to technical issues and asks them to redownload the revised admit card. However, when the candidates redownload the admit card, they see the same centre.
Several CUET UG 2022 candidates faced the consequences on the very first day as they missed their exam due to a change in exam centre at the 11th hour. While NTA officials said that such candidates will get another chance to appear in the exam in phase 2, the University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar dismissed such statements and clarified that there won’t be any retest.

CUET UG 2022 is being conducted in two phases. Phase 1 is being held in July and Phase 2 will be in August. Candidates who have opted for Physics, Chemistry or Biology have been assigned to Phase 2 of the CUET exam.
An anxious candidate asked NTA on Twitter, “Sir, I have my slot 1 exam tomorrow and I received this message few minutes ago,and when I redownloaded my admit card there is no change in it..Is it technical glitch or I have to suffer? Please reply.”
