CUET UG 2022 candidates will only appear for subjects missed due to technical glitches, clarifies NTA

NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 candidates appearing for the phase 6 exam tomorrow, August 30, will have to attempt only those subjects which they missed earlier due to technical glitches. In an official notification, NTA said that instructions regarding the subjects to be attempted will also be displayed to the concerned students during the exam tomorrow.
“There are some candidates who will also be appearing for CUET UG 2022 on 30 August 2022 again as they could not attempt some subjects because of some technical issues on the earlier day of examination. For those candidates, it is reiterated that they will attempt only those question paper(s) tomorrow for which they faced technical issues. Instructions regarding the same will also be displayed during the examination on 30 August 2022 to the concerned candidates,” reads NMC’s latest notification.

“If a candidate has been slotted for more than one subject in a retest, is he/she required to sit in all subjects? Its clarified that you need to appear only in the subject you couldn't appear in the previous exam. Evaluation of the restest is limited to that subject only,” NTA said in a tweet.
NTA asked candidates to regularly visit NTA website and CUET website regarding CUET UG 2022 answer key challenge and result.
Several CUET UG 2022 candidates missed their exam in CUET phase 2 conducted on August 4, 5 and 6, 2022, either due to technical reasons or due to cancellation of the centre. NTA allotted the exam date for such candidates on August 30.
NTA is conducting CUET UG 2022 phase 5 from August 24 to 30. The last date of Phase 6 is scheduled on August 30. NTA has already issued CUET UG admit card 2022 for phase 6 on the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. Around 2.86 lakh candidates are appearing for the last phase of CUET 2022 including 11,000 candidates, who were not allotted their choice of city earlier.
