CUET UG 2023: NTA issues notice for Tamil Nadu candidates

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important notice for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) aspirants from Tamil Nadu who qualified their Class 10 examination in 2021. Candidates can check the official notice on CUET UG 2023 official website -- cuet.samarth.ac.in.
As per the official notice, NTA has allowed Tamil Nadu students who passed their Class 10 examination in 2021 to apply for the CUET UG 2023 examination. NTA received representations from candidates that due to the Covid-19 outbreak, no examinations were conducted for 2021 batch of Class 10 students and therefore, no marks were given in the Class 10 board exam marksheet.
NTA has therefore decided that for such applicants, when candidates select ‘passing year as 2021’ with ‘school board’ as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary), the result mode field will be disabled and the associated fields for marks and CGPA will be invisible for the TN state board candidates who have passed Class 10 in 2021.
“Those candidates who have already filled the application form, with passing year as 2021, school board as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) and paid the fee, the same rule will be applied i.e. field Result Mode will be disabled and fields Total Marks, Obtained Marks, Percentage of Marks will remain invisible in the online application form of CUET UG 2023” read the official NTA CUET 2023 notification.
CUET UG 2023 application window which opened on February 19 will close on March 12. CUET UG 2023 exam dates are May 21 to 31.
