Day 4 of JEE Main 2020 commences; know shift timings and guidelines

NEW DELHI: JEE Main 2020 day 4 has commenced for the first shift. The examination for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) is being conducted today in two shifts. As per the shift timings of JEE Main, the first slot is 9 AM to 12 Noon and the second slot is 3 PM to 6 PM. JEE Main Paper 1 is being held from September 2 to 6 in 660 centres. Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Plan has been conducted on September 1, 2020.

While reporting to the centres, candidates were seen adhering to JEE Main dress code and guidelines which were released by NTA. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the authorities are also following the COVID SOPs to ensure that the safety of the students are not compromised. While entering the JEE Main exam centre, the candidates have to get their hands sanitized and new masks are also provided. Temperature of the students are also being checked and social distancing is being given primary focus

SC hearing on review plea of JEE Main postponement

A bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan will be hearing a review plea regarding JEE Main and NEET postponement. The plea was raised by six chief ministers of opposition-led states on August 28 which was dismissed. SC decision on NEET and JEE Main postponement will be made today.
