Assam Teacher Recruitment 2024: There will be 3% reservation for Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities within the existing 27% OBC/ MOBC quota.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has commenced the application process for the recruitment of Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) school teacher vacancies. Interested candidates can apply for DEE Assam teacher recruitment 2024 through the official website, dee.assam.gov.in.
A total of 5,500 vacancies of teachers will be filled up through DEE Assam recruitment drive. The last date to register for DEE Assam teacher recruitment 2024 is February 2.
Candidates should note that there will be 3% reservation for Tea Tribes and Adivasi Communities within the existing 27% quota for OBC/MOBC communities in the current Assam teacher recruitment drive.

Of the total vacancies, 1,750 are for assistant teacher, science teacher and Hindi teacher posts in upper primary schools, and 3,800 vacancies are for the assistant teacher post in lower primary schools.

Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to register for Assam teacher recruitment 2024.
- Visit the official website, dee.assam.gov.in.
- Open the recruitment tab.
- Open the link that reads ‘Apply for the post of Regular Teachers of LP and UP Schools (Advertisements dated 26/12/2023)’.
- Register and proceed to fill out the application form.
- Enter the sought details and upload the required documents.
- Click on submit and take a printout of the confirmation page.
