Delhi ITI admission 2026 registration begins tomorrow at itidelhi.admissions.nic.in; eligibility criteria

DTTE to open Delhi ITI 2026 application window on June 8; check eligibility, reservation policy and required documents

The Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) will start the registration process for the Delhi Industrial Training Institute (ITI) 2026 tomorrow, June 8, 2206. Applicants can apply on the Delhi ITI at itidelhi.admissions.nic.in.

The admission will be offered across 19 government institutes, which collectively provide 11,336 seats in 54 trades. These programmes are affiliated with either the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Under the Delhi ITI 2026 admission process, seats are reserved for various categories as per government norms. scheduled caste (SC) candidates are entitled to 15% reservation, while scheduled tribe (ST) applicants receive 7.5% reservation. Additionally, other backward class – non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) candidates are eligible for 27% reservation. These reservations are provided under the vertical reservation category.

Delhi ITI Admission 2026: Documents required

The list of documents for the Delhi ITI 2026 admission are as follows:

  • Category Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Sub-Category Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Certificate from Delhi Government-registered orphanage regarding being an inmate of the orphanage. (If applicable)
  • Certificate from BDO regarding the school and residence of the candidate located in the rural area of Delhi. (If Applicable)
  • Qualifying Certificate
  • Undertaking by Candidate(Compulsory)
  • Photograph

Delhi ITI Admission 2026: Eligibility criteria

Candidates seeking admission to Delhi ITI courses in 2026 must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. Applicants should be at least 14 years old at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit for applying to the programmes. In terms of academic qualifications, candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognised board or an equivalent examination, depending on the trade they wish to pursue.

Additionally, applicants should either be residents of Delhi or have completed their schooling in the national capital territory. Candidates are also required to be medically fit and must submit a valid medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner during the admission process.
