Delhi election office to organise special camps for college voters on Sept 29, 30 for SIR electoral rolls

The Delhi election office will organise special enrollment camps at colleges, universities, and other educational institutions on September 29 and 30 to hold registration of young voters, aged 18 to 25 years, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

According to the official notification, the camps will be set up from 9 am to 3 pm on both days. Those eligible for registration will be encouraged to fill form-6 for inclusion in the electoral rolls .

“The CEO has also directed officials to ensure adequate forms and materials, maintain records of applications, transfer forms relating to other districts/Assembly Constituencies to the concerned authorities, and publicise the camps widely,” the official notice read.

The Booth-level Officers (BLOs) will be available at the camps with electoral rolls and blank form-6, used for inclusion of names in the electoral rolls, PTI reported.

Delhi SIR Electoral Rolls 2026

The BLOs will guide and assist eligible young voters in filling out the forms, and whose names are not included in the draft electoral roll and who have completed or will complete 18-year-age by October 1, can submit form-6 along with the required supporting documents during the camps, the report read.

Students can also submit online through the EC’s voter services portal and the ECINET mobile application, it added.

In addition, the Delhi election officer will also conduct a special camp on September 27 at all polling station locations across Delhi for enrolment of eligible electors.

While as part of the offline process, students can also submit form-6 to electoral registration officers, assistant electoral registration officers, BLOs and designated locations, including polling stations, until September 30.

The final electoral roll will be published on November 4, it added.
