Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) invites applications for its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2024-25. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the scheme from June 10 through the official website, ces.du.ac.in.

As per the institute, this programme allows candidates of any age to enrol in existing courses taught by university departments and colleges during semesters 1, 3, and 5 of the academic session July-Dec 2024.
While giving the information in this regard, the director of the Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL), University of Delhi, Sanjay Roy said, “CES endeavours to provide an opportunity for knowledge enhancement to the learners of any age to get enrolled and study along with the regular students of existing courses offered by the departments and colleges of the University of Delhi.”
He further said that any person who fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria and pre-requisites, if any, specified for an existing paper, can register for the same.

As per the official course brochure, candidates are required to pay Rs 6,000 per paper as the fee for enrolling in a course under CES 2024-25. The number of seats in a course open for this scheme shall be a maximum of 10% of the total strength of the class of that course or six seats, whichever is less.
A candidate shall be permitted to register for a maximum of two papers or eight credits in a semester from the same discipline, official brochure read.
