Delhi University Job Fair 2026: Over 7,000 students take part; Rs 10 lakh highest package

Download NowThe Delhi University conducted Avasar 2.0, an employment and internship fair today at the Multipurpose Hall, University Stadium, University of Delhi. The highest placement package of Rs 10 lakh per annum was recorded in the job fair by Infuingo company, while an international organisation Sprix Japan offered the highest internship offer of Rs 60,000.

A Policy, Politics, and Governance Foundation (PPGF) also offered an internship with a stipend of approximately Rs 40,000.
More than 7,000 students took part in the Delhi University’s job fair event, where a total of 69 companies confirmed their participation, collectively bringing approximately 1,830 vacancies and internship opportunities across diverse sectors and professional domains.
The participating organisations offered students opportunities suited to varied academic backgrounds, skill sets and career interests.

Through direct interaction with recruiters, students were able to understand available roles, eligibility requirements, job responsibilities, selection procedures and the skills expected by employers.
“The fair was organised with the objective of creating a common platform where students could directly connect with prospective employers, explore employment and internship opportunities, and gain greater exposure to industry expectations and recruitment processes. The initiative also sought to strengthen the University’s engagement with the corporate and professional sector while facilitating wider and more equitable access to career opportunities for students across the University,” it added.
The fair therefore served not only as a recruitment platform but also as an important avenue for career awareness and professional networking, the notice read.
