NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) held a proctorial board meeting to take measures for facilitating smooth induction of students for the academic session 2022-23. The meeting was attended by Delhi Police and DU officials where numerous decisions were taken to ensure discipline and prevention of ragging in the campus.

The colleges and departments have been ordered to enforce the rules and regulations issued from time to time, especially provisions of ordinance XV-B, XV-C and the sexual harassment of women at workplace (prevention, prohibition and redressal) act, 2013.
Students that indulge in ragging will face suspension, expulsion, cancellation of their degree or penal action under the university's anti-ragging rules.
