NEW DELHI: The Indian Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released UCEED and CEED application forms, today, September 9. The UCEED and CEED registration 2022 can be processed only in online mode at the respective official websites, uceed.iitb.ac and ceed.iitb.ac.in. The last date to fill the UCEED CEED application forms with regular fee is October 17, 2021. Aspirants can fill the online registration forms of CEED and UCEED 2022 by paying the late fee from October 11 to 17, 2021.

What is UCEED and CEED exam
UCEED and CEED are the qualifying exams conducted by IIT Bombay under the guidance of UCI for BDes and MDes admission at IITs. Through UCEED exam, design aspirants are shortlisted for BDes admission at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.
Aspirants seeking admission to MDes and Ph.D programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur and IISc Bangalore must qualify CEED exam 2022.
Who can apply for UCEED 2022
Aspirants applying for the UCEED exam are advised to fulfill the following UCEED eligibility criteria 2022.

Aspirants should pass the 10+2 exam or equivalent in 2021 from any discipline such as Arts & Humanities, Science, and Commerce from a recognized board

Aspirants appearing for the 10+2 exam in 2022 can also appear in the UCEED exam

General/ Open/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1997, however, SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1992.

Candidates can appear the UCEED exam twice in a consecutive year.

Who can apply for CEED exam 2022
Candidates meeting the following CEED 2022 eligibility criteria can appear in the CEED exam.

Applicants should have a bachelor degree/diploma/postgraduate of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level) or,

Aspirants appearing for the final exam in the year 2022 can appear for the CEED exam or,
-
Applicants should pass the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2022.

No age limit is specified for appearing in the CEED 2022 exam.

Aspirants can appear for the CEED exam multiple times.

Design Admission at IITs: Other details on CEED and UCEED exams
Aspirants can download the UCEED and CEED admit cards from January 8, 2022 from the official websites, uceed.iitb.ac.in and ceed.iitb.ac.in. If aspirants find any discrepancy in the details mentioned on the CEED/UCEED admit card 2022, then they can report to the concerned official of the exam conducting body for rectification of the errors. All candidates are required to carry the admit card of CEED and UCEED 2022 to the test centres along with a valid identity card on the exam day for verification purposes. No electronic devices and study materials are allowed inside the exam venue.
