NEW DELHI: According to latest data from University of Delhi (DU), A total of 6,953 candidates have accepted their allotted seat in DU spot admission round-1. The university announced the schedule for the second round of spot admissions today, November 25, 2022.
DU has confirmed a total of 1,808 admission in round-1 of spot admission and an overall total of 60,084 admissions for undergraduate programmes in the university. As per the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) policy, the candidates that have applied in the CSAS rounds previously but are not admitted in any of the colleges by today, November 25, 2022 are eligible to participate in DU spot admissions round-2.

The university has made it mandatory for students to take admission in to allocated college in DU spot round-2. Those who have participated in the round-1 of spot admissions will not be considered for the subsequent rounds. The declaration of vacant seats for round 2 will be on November 28, 2022. Candidates can begin applying to spot round 2 from 10 AM on November 29 to 4:49 PM on November 30, 2022. Delhi University will declare the spot round-2 allocation list on December 2, 2022.
The university recently announced a Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for economically weak students. Students with a family income of less than Rs 4 lakh are eligible for up to 50 percent fee waiver while income between Rs 4 to 8 lakh per annum will be eligible for a fee waiver of up to 100 percent. Eligible candidates can apply for the scheme till December 12, 2022.
