NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has commenced the registration for DU BTech admission 2023 today, July 5. Eligible candidates can apply for BTech programmes for the academic session 2023-24 on the new registration portal – engineering.uod.ac.in. The last date to register is July 25.

DU is offering three BTech programmes in areas of computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and electrical engineering. The programmes will be offered by the Faculty of Technology. There are a total of 120 seats in each programme.

Students who have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 are eligible to apply. “For admission to BTech (computer science and engineering), BTech (electronics and communication engineering), and BTech (electrical engineering) of UoD, the University will consider the All India Common Rank List (CRL) of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023,” DU said in an official statement.

Candidates belonging to the general, Other Backward Classes - Non creamy layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500 whereas Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates will have to make payment of Rs 1,200. The fee will be non-refundable.

Candidates will be able to register for the DU BTech programmes on the registration portal with their JEE Main 2023 application number, name, and date of birth. Upon successful registration, candidates will be able to login to their dashboard and fill the personal and academic details, and course preferences.

“For allocations, the university will allot the highest possible preference subject to program merit, category (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS), and availability of seats,” Delhi University added.
