No change in Political Science (Hons) cut-off at Ramjas College

The students who wish to take admissions at BA Hons Political Science must have a perfect cut-off score of 100. Ramjas College has not made any change in the cut-off score for BA Hons Political Science Hons, while the cut-off score for BA programme category C and BSc Hons Physics has seen a decline of 0.5 and 0.77% respectively.

BCom Hons admissions closed at Maharaja Agrasen College: Report

Maharaja Agrasen College has released the second cut-off list of MAC 2021 for UG merit-based programmes. The minimum cut-off score for BA Hons Political Science and BA Hons Journalism is 97%, down by one percent. Admission to courses like BCom Hons and  BA programme (English + Political Science) have been closed in the Maharaja Agrasen College second cut-off list 2021.

DU second cut off list 2021: Consolidated lists soon

The University of Delhi will release the DU 2nd cut off 2021 in the form of a consolidated lists for all the colleges soon at du.ac.in. Delhi University traditionally releases consolidated DU cut-off lists for arts and commerce, science and BA programmes at late evening on the day of the cut-off announcement.

DU second cut-off 2021: 0.25 to 1.5% decline in cut-off percentage

Delhi University colleges like Aryabhatta College and DDU College have released their second cut-off list with a dip of around 025 to 1.5%.  The BA Hons Psychology programme which was offered at 98.5% in the first round is now offered at 98.25% in second cut-off list of DU 2021. In Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, the cut-off for the BSc Hons Computer is pegged at 98.5 per cent in the second list but it is closed for admissions in SC, ST, PwD and EWS categories. This is 1.5% less than the cut-off score in the first cut-off list of DU 2021.

SSNC second cut-off 2021 for unreserved seats

98.5% for Computer Science Hons at DDU

 Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College has released the DDU second cut-off list 2021. The cut-off score of BSc Hons Computer Science has dipped to 1.5% in the DDU 2nd cut-off list 2021. In the first DDU cut-off 2021, the cut-off score for admission to BSc Hons Computer Science was 100%. As per the second cut-off list of DDU 2021, the cut-off score required for admission at BSc Hons Computer Science is 98.5% in the second round.

0.25 to 1 percent decline in Aryabhatta College cut-off score

Aryabhatta College has seen a dip of 0.25 to 1 percentage in the second cut-off list. The Aryabhatta College 2021 second cut-offs for BA (Honours) Economics, BA (Honours) Hindi, BSc (Honours) Mathematics saw a one per cent decline to 97, 85 and 96 per cent, respectively. The cut-off scores for BA (Honours) English and BA (Honours) History, BCom (Honours) have come down to 95.5 per cent, 94.5 per cent and 97.5 per cent.

ARSD releases 98.75% cut-off for Economics and BCom Hons: Report

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College has releases as high as 98.75% cut-off score for BCom Hons and BA Hons Economics, as per The Indian Express. The ARSD second cut-off score for BA Hons Political Science Hons is 98.25, while for admissions to BSc Hons Computer Science 98% cut-off percentage is required.

Aryabhatta College has closed the admissions for BCom Hons and Political Science Hons have been closed in the second round of admission, as per The Indian Express. Apart from these two courses, admissions are also closed for BA programme (Political Science + History).

DU refutes favouritism allegations made by professor

The Delhi University has rejected the claim of favouritism to a particular state board made by a physics professor, Rakesh Kumar Pandey over a Facebook post and said that the opportunities are given equally to all and admissions are done on merit.

DU registrar Vikas Gupta told PTI that being a central university, the University of Delhi equally and uniformly values the academic credentials of all the candidates irrespective of their states and school boards."

DU 2nd Cut-offs: KNC previous year's cut-offs for unreserved seats

Kamala Nehru College will release the KNC second cut-off 2021 for UG admissions soon. Kalpana Bhakuni, principal of Kamala Nehru College told PTI that admissions to BA Political Science (Honours), BA Economics (Honours), BA Mathematics (Honours), BA Sociology (Honours) and BA Hindi (Honours) programmes is likely to be closed for the reserved category. The students can check the previous year KNC second cut-off list to get an idea about the previous year cut-off score.

DU 2nd cut-off list 2021: How to change courses?

Candidates who wish to change their courses after the release of DU second cut-off 2021 need to withdraw their previous admission under the first cut-off list. They have to pay a cancellation fee of Rs 1000 and download the confirmation page. Now, the students need to select new college and course by logging into the official website. They have to follow the online document verification process and make the payment of the fees as done in the first round. In other words, they need to follow the same application process to choose the new course after paying the cancellation fees.

SRCC previous year second cut-offs

Shri Ram College of Commerce will release will release the SRCC second cut-off 2021 at srcc.edu.  The college offers admission to two programmes, BA Hons Economics and BCom Hons. Meanwhile, students can check the SRCC 2nd cut-off list for previous year to know the possible cut-off score they can see in the upcoming list.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College has released 97% cut-off for three of its programmes, BSc Chemistry (Hons), BA  English Hons and BSc Physics Hons, as per The Indian Express report. For admissions to BCom Hons, the cut-off score has reduced to 98.25% in the second round.

As per The Indian Express, the cut-off of BSc Hons Computer Science is 98.5% in the second round at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. In the first cut-off list, the cut-off score was 100%.

Miranda House first cut-offs 2021 for unreserved seats

Delhi University Entrance Test 2021 for UG courses

The DU 2021 admission for some undergraduate programmes is conducted through the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) held by the National Testing Agency (NTA). From this year, the number of UG courses for which the entrance test is conducted has increased from 9 to 13. These four new UG programmes include Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Masters of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Bachelor in Physiotherapy.

DU UG admission 2021 will be conducted for candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the DU colleges. The admission to DU UG seats will be done on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the Class 12th. The number of UG seats is different for every Delhi University college.

DU NCWEB cut off 2021

This year, Delhi University is likely to release seven to eight DU 2021 Non Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) cut off. The DU NCWEB 2021 cut off will be published for female candidates who cannot pursue regular courses offered by University of Delhi. For NCWEB female students, the classes will be held only on the weekends.

Ramjas College first cut-off 2021 for unreserved category

Ramjas College released 100% cut-off score for three courses in the first cut-off list, BA Hons Political Science, BSc Hons Physics and BA programme Category C. As many as two courses, BA Hons Economics and BA Hons English asked students to have a minimum cut0off score of 99.7%.

DU Cut-Off List 2021: Admissions status at Kamala Nehru College

The Delhi University's Kamala Nehru College has witnessed a huge footfall for admissions this year. The principal of Kamala Nehru College, Kalpana Bhakuni told PTI that students have shown great interest for admissions to BA Political Science (Honours), BA Economics (Honours), BA Mathematics (Honours), BA Sociology (Honours) and BA Hindi (Honours) programmes. "It is highly likely that these courses will be closed for the reserved category candidates and some seats will be remaining in the unreserved category," she added.

LSR first cut-offs 2021 for unreserved seats

In the first DU cut-off list 2021, the LSR cut-off score saw a dip of 0.25% this year in comparison to the previous year. LSR pegged 100% score for three courses in the first round last year. The minimum cut-off score of LSR was 99.75% for BCom Hons, BA Hons Political Science and BA Hons Psychology.

Gargi college first cut-offs 2021

The Delhi University's Gargi College released the highest cut-off of 99.75% for admissions at BA Hons Applied Psychology in the first cut-off list. For admissions to B.Com (Hons), the Gargi College cut-off score required was 99%.

1,600 admissions at Miranda House

As per the PTI report, Miranda House College will not release the second cut-off list for BA Political Science (Honours), BA Chemistry (Honours), BSc Physics (Honours) and BSc Zoology (Honours).  The college has had around 1,600 admissions on the basis of DU first cut-off 2021. The college will release DU second cut-off 2021 for programmes like BA Sociology (Honours), BA History (Honours), BA Economics(Honours) and some combinations of BA programme.

Nearly 36,000 students secured seats 

After the completion of the first round of DU admission 2021 as many as 35,805 students were able to secure their seats in Delhi University colleges, as per the official data. The university also extended the deadline to pay the DU admission fee against the 1st cut-off list till October 8 (11:59 pm).

DU cut-off 2021 likely to remain higher

The DU cut-off is expected to remain higher for UG admissions this year as more more than 70,000 students from the CBSE board scored above 95% marks in Class 12 examination. The Delhi University receives majority of applications from the students belonging to CBSE board.

Over-admissions in Political Science (Hons) at Aryabhatta College

Aryabhatta College has had 301 admissions so far, with 86 admissions to BA Political Science(Honours) and BA programme combination of History and Political Science having 58 admissions against 25 seats and BCom programme seeing 61 admissions.

The Live Mint quoted Rajesh Dwivedi, convener, admissions at Aryabhatta College as saying " We have had over admissions to BA Political Science (Honours), a combination of History and Political Science under BA programme and BCom programme."

Hindu College left with seats in only few courses

The principal of Hindu College, Anju Srivastava told PTI that the admission in courses  like BA Hons Political Science, BA History (Honours), BA Hindi (Honours), BA programme, BA Philosophy (Honours), etc and almost all the science courses are over. "I think we will only have seats left in BA (Honours) Economics and BCom (Honours),"  she added.

DU Admission 2021: How to change course?

Candidates who wish to change their course of study on the basis of the second DU cut-off 2021 can withdraw their seats and apply for a new course. Those candidates who have paid the fees after the approval of admissions have to cancel their admissions by paying a sum of Rs 1000.

DU receives 60,904 applications for 1st round

The Delhi University colleges have received 60,904 applications for the admission on the basis of the DU first cut-off list, out of which 35,805 students have secured their seats. The university offers around 70,000 seats at various UG courses in 64 colleges.

How to calculate DU best of four marks

The best of four marks of Delhi University is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Class 12 examination. The four subjects must include one elective and three academic subjects. The subjects should have the relevant subject in which the candidates wish to  pursue honours.

DU 2nd cut-off list: Admissions begin from October 11

The candidates who want to take admissions against the 2nd cut-off list of DU 2021 can apply from October 11 to 13. The approval of the admissions will be done by DU principals by October 14 (5 pm). The deadline to make the DU admission fee payment is October 15 (5 pm).

What is DU UG spot admission 2021? 

University of Delhi will release a spot admission list for candidates who did not qualify for the DU 2021 cut off list. The DU spot admission 2021 is conducted for colleges who have vacant seats even after the all cut off lists have been released. To be eligible for DU 2021 spot admission, candidates need to fall under the combined rank mentioned in DU spot admission notification.

Admission to 70,000 seats in 64 colleges 

The university offers around 70,000 seats across 64 colleges in UG merit based courses. These seats also consist of supernumerary seats (sports and ECA seats).  Fifteen Delhi University colleges are planning to increase a total of 600 seats by launching new undergraduate programmes.
