The DU UG 2025 mop-up round is aimed at filling remaining seats after the conclusion of earlier admission rounds. As per the official schedule, candidates will have to complete the payment of the admission fee by September 11 to confirm their seats. The final deadline for all admission-related formalities for the mop-up round is September 13.
Colleges have started verifying candidates for minimum eligibility, program-specific requirements, category documents, and other prescribed rules. For programs where General Aptitude marks are considered, the best four subjects, including one language, are being evaluated.
Colleges have already begun shortlisting of candidates based on Class 12 marks and tie-breaking rules mentioned in CSAS (UG)-2025, in accordance with the vacancies published by the University. Candidates may receive multiple allocations simultaneously and can provisionally accept more than one offer while awaiting approvals.
As per the institute, if a candidate receives multiple approvals, they can select one allocation and complete the fee payment within two days. Candidates who have already taken admission in the mop-up round can switch to a new allocation by cancelling their existing admission. In such cases, any differential fee must be paid within two days of receiving approval for the new allocation.
At the time of admission, candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the college confirming that they are not enrolled in any other University of Delhi college for the 2025-26 academic session.
