DU UG 2nd Allotment List 2023 Out: 19,038 new allocations; 10,104 students got choice upgraded

NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi announced the second allotment result for DU UG admission 2023 based on the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2023) score. 19,038 students new allocations were made in the DU CSAS 2nd allotment 2023. Students can check the DU UG second seat allocation results from the CSAS portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Candidates who accepted the DU first allotment 2023 and opted for upgrade and those who were not allocated seats were considered in the second round. Maximum enrolments have been made in Hansraj College, Ramjas College and Dyal Singh College, as per the data shared by the university.

After the DU 1st seat allotment, a total of 34,174 opted for upgrade and 10,104 students got their choices upgraded in the DU 2nd seat allotment. 17,561 candidates chose to opt for the freeze option, the university said. Number of students who retained their allocation was 32,600.

Candidates will have to accept the allotted seats by August 13. The DU colleges will be verifying and approving the application by August 14. The last date to pay the DU admission fees is August 15. If any applicant fails to make the payment or accept the allocated seat, they won’t be considered for the further allotment process.

DU vacant seats for the DU 3rd allotment will be displayed on August 17 on the CSAS admission portal. Following which, students will be given a chance to re-order their preferences till August 19.
