DU UG Admission 2022: New academic session likely to begin on November 1; important dates

Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi today launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for the DU UG admission 2022. Now that the DU admission portal is active, interested candidates will be able to register for undergraduate admission for the academic year 2022-23 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

During the CSAS 2022 portal launch, Delhi University vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh said that the new academic session is likely to begin on November 1. This marks the much-awaited commencement of the admission process at Delhi University.
This year, the DU will be admitting students through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET results 2022 are expected to be announced on September 15, the University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had said earlier.
"We are launching the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal today for undergraduate programmes. This is the first time we are taking admission through CUET," he said.

Candidates will be able to submit their DU application form 2022 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in till October 3. Students will be given a total of 21-day window to apply for their desired undergraduate programme, DU VC said.
To apply for DU UG admission 2022, candidates will have to visit the DU admission website and register by clicking on the link that reads admission for undergraduate programmes. They will have to fill in all basic details, upload mark sheets, photographs and signatures, and pay the registration fee.

Candidates will be required to upload the CUET scores only in the second phase of the DU admission process. The university also urged students to complete the process before the last date.

The university also announced that it has not decided on the number of counselling sessions this year, however, it will be conducting at least 4 to 5 rounds of counselling.
