DU UG Admission 2023: Last date to pay fees for CSAS 1st round; vacant seats on August 7

Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi will close the window for fee payment for DU CSAS first round seat allocation 2023 today. The last date to accept the allotted college and course was on August 4. A total of 76,540 students accepted allocation, of which only 26,303 paid the fees through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, admission.uod.ac.in.

The university prepared the DU first merit list 2023 based on the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2023) score and eligibility criteria set for each course.
For the first allocation, DU considered more than 2 lakh candidates, out of which only 7,042 candidates got their first preference . Most of the seats in DU colleges were claimed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). 22,000 students got seats from their top five preferences.
The DU CSAS first round fee payment window will close at 5 PM today. Once the first round allocation is completed, the university will display the vacant seats for DU CSAS second round seat allocation 2023 on August 7. The facility to reorder higher preference will also begin from August 7 and will be available till August 8.
The DU 2nd round CSAS merit list 2023 will be published on August 10. Candidates must note that to be considered for the DU UG admission 2023 process in each round and for an option upgrade, they should pay the fees and accept the college allotted before the deadline.
