DU ECA admission 2026: How CEM scores are calculated
The University of Delhi has clarified that the CEM score is out of 4,000. It is calculated by combining the candidate's Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 score and ECA score. Twenty-five per cent of the highest programme-specific CUET score is combined with 75% of the highest ECA score from the categories for which the candidate is being considered.
DU has also stated that some sub-categories are not included because either no colleges offered seats under those categories or there were no eligible candidates. The university has advised applicants to report any discrepancies to ECA admissions for timely resolution.
The final decision on admission will rest with the university and will remain subject to verification and compliance, according to the document.
