NEW DELHI: The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) Committee has assured that the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) document will be ready by the next Basant Panchami, union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said during the launch of mandate document of NCF today, April 29.

The National Steering Committee has created a ‘scientific’ document, said Pradhan and added that the framework will lead to syllabus, syllabus will lead to textbooks and those will lead to a generational change.

More than 22 states have uploaded their suggestions on the online portal for the NCF document, Pradhan said. “This document will not only impact our citizens but will be benchmark for developing economics,” he said.

“Let us create an app where any citizen of the country can send their suggestions to NSF,” the education minister said. Let us talk to madrassas, christians and all the religious sections of society, he said. This document will be a social document, he added.

The Mandate Document describes the development process of the NCF, its expected structure and objectives, and some of the basic principles from the NEP 2020 that will inform the development of the four NCFs.

The entire process of curriculum framework is being done in a paperless manner with very wide consultation at school/district/state level with the help of a Tech platform and Mobile App.
