Ekaagra Solutions to host online session on ‘Statistics for Non Statisticians’ on January 6

NEW DELHI: Ekaagra Solutions Chennai will be hosting a live online session on 'Statistics for Non Statisticians' (SFNS) programme on January 6, 2023, for students and working professionals. The registration process for the live session has begun.
The online session on the SFNS programme will be delivered via Zoom on January 6 from 3.30 PM to 6 PM. Ekaagra Solutions provides consulting and training services and related hard skills. This programme was first launched on November 20, and was run three times after that.
Explaining about the programme, Ekaagra said: “This programme is meant for those who think that statistics is ‘very difficult’, and best left to data scientists, quality and reliability professionals, economists, accountants and the like.” “Statistics is an indispensable part of numeracy. It is too important to be left to the so-called specialists.”

Statistics for Non Statisticians
Candidates working in sales and marketing, manufacturing, service, software, supply chain management, finance and accounting, HR or even running their own enterprise will also be able to take part in the programme. The programme will cover the following topics.
- Central Tendency and Dispersion: what do we use where?
- Probability: it’s deeper than you think, and in your face!
- Histograms, Normality and Skewness
- Distributions and their applications
- Confidence Intervals
- Statistical Inference: the concept of Hypothesis Testing
- The Measurement of Agreement
- Slicing and Dicing: Simpson’s Paradox
Interested candidates will have to register at ekaagra.com/ourprograms.html by paying Rs 1,000. Participants will also be provided with a variety of payment options. There is a 10% discount for all who register on or before December 18, 2022, the officials said. Students pursuing UG, PG, PhD, Post Doctoral programmes will get a 50% off on the registration fees, however, this discount cannot be clubbed with anything else.
