SPJIMR still best in India for masters in management; IIMB returns at 41: Financial Times rankings 2024

Financial Times Business School Rankings 2024: While SPJIMR climbed to 35th spot, IIM Ahmedabad remains second best for MiM with 39th rank.
NEW DELHI : Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) has retained its position as the top business school in India in the Financial Times Masters in Management rankings 2024. The management institute jumped up to the 35th position in the FT global rankings as compared to last year’s 40.
14 institutes featured in this year’s PG management rankings by FT. The private institute is followed by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) including IIM Ahmedabad at 39th spot and IIM Bangalore re-emerging at 41st.
Other IIMs which made way to the FT b-school rankings 2024 for the MiM programme are IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Udaipur, and IIM Indore.
Among the other private institutions that entered this years’ management rankings are Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi, and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai.

Institute of Management Institute (IMT) Ghaziabad is the last ranked institute in India with 97th rank.
Switzerland’s University of St Gallen is the best management institute in the world for a master’s in management, as per the rankings.
