FMS Delhi Placements: Summer placement for the 2021-22 batch concludes with highest stipend at Rs 5 lakh, average stipend at 2.62 lakh.

NEW DELHI: Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi (FMS Delhi) has completed its final placement for the 2020-22 batch and the summer placement for the 2021-23 batch, with the highest salary being offered for the final placement at Rs 58 lakh per annum and the highest stipend for the summer placement at Rs 5 lakh.
According to a statement from FMS Delhi, the 2020-22 batch students of the institute received the highest ever average salary of Rs 32.4 lakh per annum during the final placement. About 95 percent of the offers made were of salary above 20 lakh per annum. The top 10 percent average salary offered during the FMS final placement was Rs 54.5 lakh per annum. The top 25 percent stood at Rs 48.4 lakh per annum and the top 50 percent offers were at Rs 40.78 lakh per annum.
As many as 78 companies, out of the 107 participating companies, made about 262 job offers to FMS students. There were also 69 pre-placement orders made during the pre-placement drive, out of which 65 were accepted by the FMD Delhi students. The FMS placements for the 2020-22 batch witnessed a 24 percent increase in the finance roles being offered.
Companies such as Adani, Amazon, Asian Paints, Byju’s, Coca Cola, Dabur, Dr Reddy’s, Adobe, Amazon, American Express, EXL, Avendus, Axis Bank, Bharti Enterprises, Citibank, Crisil, Accenture Strategy, Adani, AON, Bain & Co, Boston Consulting Group, Capgemini E.L.I.T.E, Deloitte and many others participated in the FMS Delhi placements.

In the FMS Delhi summer placement drive for the 2021-23 batch, 257 students participated from the batch of 269 students size, and all of them were placed. The remaining 12 students took a placement holiday as FMS provides an option for its students who wish to start their own ventures to take a placement holiday. But these students can participate in the placement drive for up to two years if they want to.
The average stipend offered for the students of FMS Delhi 2021-23 batch during the summer placement was 2.62 lakh. The top 10 percent average stipend offered was Rs 3.7 lakh, the top 25 percent average stipend stood at 3.36 lakh and top 50 percent at 3.13 lakh. As many as 272 students of the 278 strong FMS Delhi 2021-23 batch participated in the summer placement event. All of them were placed. About 290 offers were made by 122 participating companies. The FMS summer placements witnessed a 72 percent increase in offers made from the consulting sector.
