The Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) hosted its convocation ceremony for the Class of 2026, awarding postgraduate diplomas in management to 297 students, along with a doctoral scholar. Students from the batch have secured placements in organisations including Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, HDFC, S&P Global, Tata Capital, CBRE, MakeMyTrip and DHL across consulting, banking, analytics, technology and operations roles.
Addressing the graduating students, Manish Gupta the senior director at Google DeepMind, who attended the event as the chief guest, highlighted the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment and said: “The world you are entering is changing faster than ever before, and your greatest advantage will be your willingness to remain curious and keep learning throughout your life."

FIIB highlights institutional changes
Radhika Shrivastava the FIIB president and CEO, said the graduating batch witnessed significant institutional developments during their two years at the institute and said: "What I keep hearing from our alumni, across decades and industries, is the same handful of lessons. Depth compounds, the ones who stayed with something long enough to truly understand it went further than those who kept switching directions. Credibility travels long after roles changed, reputations continued to open doors. And learning doesn't stop when the degree does. It simply changes address from a classroom to a client call, from a professor to a colleague who happens to know something you don't yet.”
According to the official FIIB press release, the institute earned AACSB accreditation during this period, placing it among the top 6% of business schools globally. The institute also redesigned its curriculum through FIIBx and revised its approach towards career pathways, industry engagement and learning experiences.
FIIB: Alumni honoured at ceremony
FIIB also recognised two distinguished alumni during the convocation ceremony for their contributions to the industry.
The institute honoured Darpan Khurana Chandra, Director – Supply Chain Transformation at Coca-Cola India, and Tapan Bansal, Director at Mothercare Sourcing India Pvt Ltd and Co-Founder of Globgrid Fashion Hub Pvt Ltd.
According to the press release of FIIB, the alumni were recognised for their leadership contributions in the supply chain transformation, sourcing, retail and fashion manufacturing sectors.
The ceremony concluded with Shrivastava encouraging graduates to continue learning and questioning throughout their careers.
