Try NowNEW DELHI, AUGUST 31: IIT Madras which is the organizing body for GATE 2019 has released the application form for the national entrance exam on August 31, a day early than scheduled. The exam will be held on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019. Candidates have up till September 21 to fill the application form without a late fee and thereafter till October 1 with a late fee.
A new feature in GATE 2019 is the introduction of a new paper, “Statistics”. The extended date with the late fee is also a new feature that has been announced this year.
The entire application process is online through the GATE Online Application Processing System also called as GOAPS. This is also the means to download the admit card as well as check the result and accessing the score card. To fill the GATE 2019 application form, the following easy step have to be followed.
Registration : Candidates have to register first by entering their name, email id, country of residence, mobile number and finally the password. The enrolment id will be received via email and SMS
Login to fill the application form: Candidates must login using the enrolment id as well as the password. They must then enter their personal, academic and address details. They must also enter the exam cities of their choice (three in total).
Upload requisite documents: Candidates must upload their photo, signature, eligibility document and category certificate if applicable. PwD and Dyslexic candidates must upload the respective medical certificates as well.

Payment of the application fee: Candidates must pay the specified application fee as per their category through Debit/ Credit Cards/ Net Banking etc.
Downloading and saving a copy of the application form: This is the last step. The GATE application form should be downloaded and a copy kept safe for future reference.
