Try NowNEW DELHI: The online registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 is open with late fees. Interested candidates can still apply online for the aptitude test with the payment of an extra fee till October 7.
To apply for the GATE 2022 exam, candidates will have to register online at the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in with their names.

According to an official statement on the website: “The end date of filling the online application is September 30, 2021 without late fee. Applications may still be submitted from October 1 to October 7, 2021 with late fee.”
GATE 2022: Steps to register
- Go to the website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in
- Click on the GATE application link and complete the registration process by filling in the required details
- Fill in GATE 2021 application form
- Upload required documents such as scanned images of photograph and signature
- Pay GATE 2021 application late fee
- Check carefully and submit the GATE registration form 2021
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will conduct the GATE 2022 exam for admission to various MTech courses in February. The GATE 2022 exam dates are February 5, 6, 12 and 13.
All the registered candidates will be able to download the GATE 2022 admit card from the official portal from January 3.
This year, the authorities have introduced two new subjects - Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. Also, the authorities have allowed students to fill and submit one or two application forms.

However, applicants have to fill only one application form.In case of multiple applications, only one will be accepted and remaining applications will be rejected without any refund for the paid fee.
