Try NowNew Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has begun the GATE 2022 registration process on the official website today, August 30. Candidates who are eligible can submit the GATE application form 2022 without a late fee till September 24. The GATE 2022 registration link is available in online mode at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

How to register for GATE 2022 exam
In order to fill the GATE 2022 application form, candidates have to follow the detailed steps below.
Online registration - Go to the official website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Applicants have to register for the GATE 2022 exam by providing the details including name, a valid e-mail id, mobile number, and by choosing a password. After successful GATE registration 2022, an e-mail containing the enrolment id will be sent to the candidate.
Filling application form - Log in using the valid credentials to fill all other details on the application form such as personal details, address, degree details, GATE paper , exam centre choice, etc.
Uploading scanned images - They need to upload photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the prescribed format.
GATE 2022 registration fee payment - Candidates have to pay the application fee through any of the online payment modes.

Final submission - Candidate should read and accept the declaration statement before submitting the online GATE application form 2022.
Note: In the case of multiple GATE registrations 2022, only one will be considered and the remaining registrations will be cancelled without any fee refund.
About GATE
IIT, Kharagpur is the conducting body of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) which is conducted to shortlisting candidates for admission to postgraduate engineering courses. The GATE 2022 scores are also taken into consideration during public sector undertakings (PSU) recruitments.
The GATE 2022 scores will also be considered for direct recruitment to group A level posts in central government which includes de Senior Research Officer (Crypto), Senior Field Officer (Tele) and Senior Research Officer (S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat, govt. of India,
The GATE 2022 exam will be held as a computer-based test on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022. GATE 2022 will be conducted for 29 subjects in 202 cities across India.
