Check NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has asked Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) candidates to correct applications that are marked defective. Candidates can edit the GATE application form 2024 on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in or goaps.iisc.ac.in.

“Candidates whose applications are marked defective are advised to login to GOAPS and attend to the defects immediately so that we can take their application to the next stage! Please be aware that if the defects are not corrected, Admit Cards may not be issued to such candidates,” the institute said.
As per the schedule, GATE admit card 2024 download link will be activated on January 3. The exams will be held from February 3, 4, 10 and 11.

GATE 2024 photo, signature size
Candidates who have uploaded photograph and signature incorrectly can check the specifications given below.
Photograph specifications - Applicants should ensure that the photograph is of good quality with size 3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height. The background of the photograph should be white. Candidates should not upload photos wherein they are wearing cap, sunglasses, etc.
The image should be uploaded in JPEG, JPG format with the aspect ratio of 0.66 to 0.89. The maximum pixel resolution is 530 x 690 pixels and the minimum resolution is 200 x 260 pixels. The file size must be a minimum of 5 kB and a maximum of 1 MB.
Signature - The signature image should also be uploaded in JPEG, JPG format with an aspect ratio between 2.75 and 3.75. The signature should be made in black or dark blue colour only.
The file size should be a minimum of 3 kb and maximum of 1 MB. The maximum pixel resolution is 580 × 180 pixels and the minimum resolution is 250 × 80 pixels.
