NEW DELHI: The last date to apply for GATE 2025 is September 26 without a late fee. Eligible candidates can complete GATE registration 2025 by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is organizing GATE 2025.
As per the GATE 2025 official website, the extended online application process with a late registration fee will be conducted till October 7. Applicants can fill GATE form 2025 on the GOAPS portal.
GATE fees 2025 is Rs 900 for female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) during the regular registration period. Whereas, all other applicants including foreign nationals will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,800.
As per the latest update on GATE 2025, the biological sciences and bioengineering department at IIT Kanpur has decided to admit students to its MTech programmes through GATE scores. Moreover, the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL), one of the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), announced that it will be using GATE 2025 results of CE, CH, EC, EE, IN, and ME test papers for recruitment.
GATE 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 next year. The exam will be held in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for a total of 30 test papers. The test will be held in two shifts -- forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A candidate will be allowed to appear for a maximum of two test papers from the available set of two-paper combinations. GATE 2025 admit card will be issued on January 2.
The GATE exam is conducted every year for admission to postgraduate programmes in the field of engineering and others offered by IITs, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other institutions. GATE scores are also used by the PSUs for recruitment.
