Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conclude the GATE 2025 registration process tomorrow, October 3. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet can fill GATE application form 2025 on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE 2025 exam date is February 1, 2, 15, and 16.
After receiving several requests from aspirants, the institute extended the GATE 2025 registration last date without late fee till October 3 (11:59 pm). Applicants can fill GATE form 2025 on the GOAPS portal.
In order to apply for the exam during the regular period, female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will be required to pay GATE fees 2025 of Rs 900. All other applicants including foreign nationals have to make payment of Rs 1,800.
GATE 2025 latest update
According to the latest update on GATE 2025 website, payment through international master card and visa card is being accepted on the GOAPS portal. Moreover, the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) GRID-India announced that the corporation will be using the GATE result 2025 of the EE test paper for recruitment.
GATE exam 2025
GATE exam 2025 will be conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for a total of 30 test papers. The test will be held in two shifts -- forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A candidate will be allowed to sit for a maximum of two test papers from the available sets of two-paper combinations . GATE admit card 2025 will be issued on January 2, 2025.
The GATE scores are used for admitting students to postgraduate programmes in the field of engineering and others by IITs, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other participating institutions. PSUs also use GATE results for recruitment.
