IIT Kharagpur has postponed the GATE 2022 admit card release date. Applicants will be able to download the GATE 2022 admit card from January 7 now.

The Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIT Kharagpur) has delayed the release of GATE admit card 2022. The exam authorities will now release the GATE 2022 admit card on January 7. Earlier, GATE admit card 2022 was scheduled to be released on January 3. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of GATE 2022, from GOAPS website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in. To download the GATE 2022 admit card, aspirants will have to enter their credentials such as enrollment ID and password.

Aspirants will have to download and carry the GATE admit card to the exam centre, failing to do so, they will not be permitted to appear in the exam. The GATE admit card 2022 will consist of details such as name of candidates, their roll number, registration number, GATE 2022 exam date and timings, exam centre address, subject name and general exam centre instructions.

Steps to download the GATE admit card 2022
Step 1 - Visit the official website of GATE - gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
Step 2 - Enter login credentials such as the enrollment number and password.
Step 3 - Click on GATE 2022 login for admit card download link.
Step 4 - GATE admit card 2022 will be downloaded in the pdf format. Aspirants will have to check all the details mentioned on the GATE 2022 admit card.
Step 5 - They will have to carry the admit card and take a printout to be carried to the exam centre.

GATE exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into M.E./M.Tech/PhD at the IITs, NITS, IIITs and CFTIs and also for recruitment in PSUs. The last date to fill the GATE 2022 application form was September 30.
GATE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. Applicants appearing for the exam must carry the GATE 2022 admit card on exam day. In case of any discrepancy in the GATE admit card, applicants must contact the exam authority a few days before the exam.
