GATE 2022: Answer key challenge starts today at gate.iitkgp.ac.in

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will start the GATE 2022 answer key challenge facility today. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional GATE answer key online at the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The last date to raise the objection against the answer key of GATE 2022 is February 25. A candidate has to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- per answer in order to challenge the answer key.

It is important for the candidates to show or submit proof that will support their challenge. If a candidate fails to show his/her supporting proof then the challenge of the answer key of GATE 2022 shall be revoked.

Steps to Challenge GATE 2022 Answer Key

• First, candidates need to visit the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in

• In the next step, they have to click on the “GATE 2022 Answer Key Challenge” link.

• Once clicked on the link, a new page will open in the window. Now, candidates have to log in using the required credentials.

• As a candidate enters after logging in, he/she will see question IDs along with the correct answer ID and the option IDs.

• Candidates are required to select the question and option ID that needs to be challenged.

• Now, they have to write a description in the description box in support of their challenge.

• At last, payment has to be made at the time of submitting the challenge.

The GATE 2022 result will be declared on March 17, 2022, after the committee reviews all the submitted challenges of the candidates.

GATE 2022 Answer Key Challenge Fee

If any candidate would like to challenge the IIT Kharagpur GATE 2022 answer key then he/she would have to pay Rs. 500 for each question. The candidate can make the payment using the Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card facility.

If the committee declares a challenge to be correct, a full refund will be made to the candidate for the respective challenge after the release of the final GATE 2022 answer key with the solution. Somehow, if a challenge is invalid in the eyes of the committee, then no refund will be made.
