The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is going to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE exam) tomorrow on February 13 for ME. Applicants appearing for the GATE 2022 exam must get familiar with the exam pattern and know the exam day guidelines followed at the exam centre.

GATE ME Exam Pattern 2022
There will be a total of 65 questions asked in the GATE ME exam 2022. A total of 15 questions will be asked from General Aptitude while 65 questions will be asked from respective subjects. GATE ME paper will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.
GATE ME 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must reach the GATE exam centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

Applicants appearing for the exam must carry the GATE 2022 admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

Candidates are advised not to carry any restricted item inside the examination hall.

In the view of COVID-19 pandemic, applicants will be allowed to carry their personal face mask, hand sanitizer and transparent water bottle inside the examination hall.

Candidates should NOT bring any charts/tables/papers/books/sheets into the examination hall.

Applicants must wear the face mask throughout the GATE 2022 examination.
Applicants appearing for the examination tomorrow must go through the GATE ME 2022 important topics and previous year exam analysis for preparations. As per the previous year GATE ME analysis, the paper was moderate in difficulty level. Some of the most asked topics were Manufacturing, Thermodynamics & Applications, Engineering Mathematics and others.
