The exam conducting authority mentions the GATE exam eligibility in the official notification. The eligibility criteria of GATE exam comprises qualifying exam, qualifying marks, age limit and others criteria. Candidates must check the GATE eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

IIT KGP will release the GATE answer key 2022 on February 21 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Applicants appearing for the exam will be able to challenge the GATE 2022 answer key from February 22 to 25. After considering all the objections, IIT Kharagpur will release the GATE result on March 17.

Applicants appearing for the exam must carry the GATE hall ticket at the exam centre. Along with the GATE admit card, candidates must also carry one valid photo identity proof to appear for the examination. IIT KGP has commenced the GATE exam 2022 shift 1 at 9 AM today for CE, BT, PH & EY branches. Applicants appearing for the GATE 2022 exam on February 12 must follow all the exam day guidelines as mentioned in the GATE exam admit card. IIT KGP has issued COVID-19 guidelines to appear for the GATE exam. Applicants appearing for the exam have to carry their personal face mask, hand sanitizer, water bottle and pen/pencil for the exam. GATE Time Table 2022

IIT Kharagpur is going to commence the GATE 2022 exam at 9 AM. GATE exam on February 12 shift 1 will be conducted for Civil Engineering (CE), Biotechnology (BT), Physics (PH) and Ecology and Evolution (EY). GATE 2022 exam for shift 1 will conclude at 12 PM. Candidates appearing for the exam must carry their GATE 2022 admit card along with one valid ID proof at the exam centre.

IIT Kharagpur will conduct the GATE 2022 in two shifts - forenoon and afternoon session. GATE exam duration is 3 hours. The forenoon session will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM while afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 to 5:30PM. Applicants appearing for the exam must carry their GATE admit card at the exam centre.

Applicants appearing for the exam must not carry any restricted item inside the GATE 2022 examination hall. Candidates will not be allowed inside the examination hall with any restricted ietm.
