GPAT 2025 information brochure at 3 pm today: NBEMS to start registration from April 1

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will upload the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT 2025) information bulletin today at 3 pm on the official website, natboard.edu.in. The GPAT registration 2025 will begin from April 1.

Last month, the NBEMS announced the GPAT exam date 2025. As per the schedule, the pharmacy entrance exam will be held on May 25. The GPAT registration last date 2025 is April 21.

The GPAT exam is conducted for offering admission into MPharm courses and awarding scholarships for qualified candidates. The national-level GPAT exam was first conducted in 2010 by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per the direction by the ministry of education. From 2019 till 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the entrance exam.

Applicants belonging to the general, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 3,500 as registration fee, whereas SC, ST, and PwD candidates will have to pay Rs 2,500.

GPAT 2025: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria will be considered eligible to sit for the GPAT entrance exam.

• Applicant should be an Indian citizen.
• Should have completed 4-year bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy after Class 12, including later entry students, from a recognised university.
• Candidates appearing for the final year or 4th year exam will also be eligible.
• BE, BTech Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology or equivalent candidates are not eligible.

The GPAT question paper will consist of 125 questions carrying 500 marks. A total of 38 questions will be asked from pharmaceutical chemistry and allied subjects and pharmaceutics and allied subjects. Twenty-eight questions will be asked from pharmacology, 10 from pharmacognosy, and 11 from other subjects of BPharm.
