Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) placement drive sees average salary rise 31%

NEW DELHI: Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai recorded a 31 percent increase in the average salary during placements drive for its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) 2022 batch. The average cost-to-company (CTC) received by the institute's students during the previous years’ campus job drive was Rs 13.6 lakh per annum. This has improved to Rs 17.86 lakh per annum this year, said a statement from the Great Lakes Institute of Management.

The highest CTC offered at the Great Lakes placement is Rs 33.26 lakh per annum. The average salary offered to the top 10 percent is Rs 31.1 lakh.
During the academic year 2019-20, 109 students were placed out of the 120 students who graduated from the two-year PG course at Great Lakes, according to data shared with the National Institutional Ranking Framework.

Many reputed companies participated in the GLIM placement 2022. Companies such as Accenture, ADP, Bain, Bristlecone, Deloitte, Cognizant, Tiger Analytics, Zoom among others, hired Great Lakes PGPM students.
The placement drive witnessed offers from different sectors such as analytics, business and technology consulting, product, logistics and supply chain, fin-tech, healthcare, sports, ed-tech and digital.

“We are glad to know that Great Lakes PGPM students are adding value to reputed corporations. Great results were observed during the 2022 placements that concluded in record time. We witnessed a notable increase in salaries and the quality of roles offered,” said Suresh Ramanathan, dean and principal of Great Lakes Institute of Management.
